Huck Finn
Huckelberry Finn has some troubles in his life. He lives with a widow because his father hasn't been seen in more than a year. Tom Sawyer is his best friend. Tom wants to start a band of robbers and murderers with Huck and a few other boys from the neighborhood. They all met up and followed Tom to a cave in the woods. There Tom made them all agree to be in the band or to go home. They all agreed by signing there names in blood. From this point on Huck, Tom and all the other boys basically just played being robbers and murdurers, but never actually robbed or murdered anyone. The widow was constantly trying to make Huck pure and get him into heaven. She told him to pray every night and to go to school. Huck didnt quite understand all this religion stuff so he blew it off most of the time. At one point in the story Huck kind of enjoys having to wash and dress differently everyday. Until one day his father comes back for the first time in a year. His father takes him away from everthing. He brings him deep into the woods so no one can find him. He doesne't Huck to be better than him by going to school, learning religion, and wearing nice clothes the widow gave him. His father is a drunk. He makes Huck give him any money he gets so he can buy booze.
